Advent Devotional

by | Nov 22, 2024 | 2024 Advent Devotional

Advent is a time of anticipation. As those before Jesus awaited the Messiah, we await our Christmas day with daily reflection on Scripture and our Savior. Our author offers short reflections on 28 New Testament passages as a throwback to our 2024 New Testament Challenge. 4 Pre-Advent days starting Thanksgiving Eve help cover all 27 books.

Each day from 11/27/24 until 12/25/24 christmasathope.org/advent will post a new devotion at midnight if you'd like to visit daily.

Other forms are a PDF (see below), Micro-Site, and print editions at the Welcome Desk at one of our church locations. These devotions were graciously written by a member of the church and edited and designed by our pastoral and communication teams.

Family Advent Resources are also available too! Download these great family devotions to get ideas on discussion questions, simple crafts and songs to worship as a family!
